Everyone out there, tonight I learnt such a valuable lesson from the things that I see around me. Look at this, look at this man right here. Even being handicapped, he’s still able to make a living by using his legs.
Look at him. Now, look at yourself. No matter what you’re going through, no matter how fat you think you are, despite all that criticism from people about how much you look like a pig, your mom nagging at you about your weight, your teachers constantly reminding you the obvious or your friends looking so much better than you do.
One thing you should keep in mind. There are other people out there who are less fortunate than you are and would do anything to have the life you have now. I believe we’re all here for a purpose and being so negative about things isn’t going to get you anywhere. All you get is heartbreak and another year of failure.
For this new year, wake up. Open your eyes wide, use everything you have on you to make a change. If everyone waits for another person to make it change, it’ll take forever. It starts with YOU and start looking at the world in a whole new perspective.
Your world will be changed, that is a promise.
